Northern Arizona Academy is a charter school that serves students in grades 9 - 12.  The school's philosophy is to serve every student -- whatever it takes!  Unlike most high schools who prepare generic curriculum for the "whole" of the high school student population.  NAA strives to meet the student at their academic level and assist them in strengthening areas of weakness and/or facilitating strengths and encouraging learning at all levels.

This requires many unique resources and dedicated staff sharing information and strategies.  Since NAA has six different sites separated by many miles the purpose of this website is to connect NAA teachers and any others who are interested in sharing ideas.

The Internet course I took, called the Savvy Cyber Teacher, was developed as part of the Alliance Project which is funded by the US Department of Education and overseen locally by ASSET, Arizona School Services through Educational Technology, and the Phoenix Think Tank.
